Farpoint Astro designed the FP329 Desiccant Plug specifically to fit Santa Barbara Instrument Group (SBIG) ST-Series CCD cameras as a replacement for original stock reusable desiccant cartridges.

This replacement plug uses disposable desiccant packs, allowing you to change packs in the field to keep your delicate gear protected. The stock cartridge requires a four-hour "bake-off" to refresh the desiccant for reuse, but this isn't always practical if you're off the grid for extended periods. The Farpoint plug comes with 10 individually wrapped disposable desiccant packs, and additional 10-packs can be obtained separately as you need them. This plug fits ST-7, 8, 9, 10, 1001, 2000 (E, XE, XME) series cameras.
