Specifically designed for deep-sky astroimaging, the Starlight Xpress Trius Pro-35 Monochrome CCD Imaging Camera is outfitted with a high-resolution large-format Kodak KAI11002 CCD sensor that delivers resolutions of up to 4032 x 2688, with good quantum efficiency across the entire visible spectrum peaking at 51% at 540nm. An onboard temperature-monitoring chip and integrated fan ensure the imaging system continues to work efficiently—the fan is capable of cooling the camera to as low as 72°F below ambient air temperature.

A USB 2.0 interface allows you to download full-resolution images to your Windows computer in about seven seconds. The housing sports three USB mini-B ports that act as a USB hub and allow you to connect peripherals and accessories—such as a guide camera, filter wheel, and electric focuser—and control them all, plus the camera, via the single tethered cable to your computer—greatly reducing cable tangle. Additionally, there is a dedicated ST4 autoguider port.

This compact and lightweight imager comes with an array of cables and adapters for power and peripheral connections. This large imaging system is designed for larger rigs and accessories and comes outfitted with 72mmx1 mounting threads that fit Takahashi telescopes and other large-format accessories, adapters, and extension tubes. Alignment screws are provided for adjusting the chip so that it is perfectly parallel to the focal plane, with a generous 17mm back focus distance.
