Featuring large apertures and easy functionality, the Sky-Watcher Classic 200P 8" Dobsonian OTA is a beginner telescope allowing bright, detailed visual observing using a simple design. A base is sold separately. The large 200mm aperture delivers a 78% brighter viewing experience than 150mm models. A patented tension control handle allows for precise slewing and maximum stability. A 2" Crayford-style focuser with a 1.25" adapter allows for use of nearly any eyepiece. The scope features a parabolic primary mirror with Radiant Aluminum Quartz (RAQ), and it has a heavy-duty rocker box with Teflon bearings.
