A precise polar alignment is critical for astrophotography and important for accurate long-duration observation sessions. This accessory helps you achieve that accuracy quickly and easily. Designed for use in either the northern or southern hemisphere, the scope has a star pattern reticle in the view that shows easily identifiable stars near both poles to aid in the alignment process. It mounts externally to the mount, and Sky-Watcher includes the required bracket that will hold the scope during the alignment process.
