When used in conjunction with their optional Side-by-Side Saddles the Farpoint Astro Vixen-Style Side-by-Side Connecting Bar allows you to safely and easily mount two optical tube assemblies (OTAs) on a single telescope mount. The 12" Vixen-style dovetail bar installs on your mount's saddle and gives you two places to mount the optional saddles that allow you to connect two OTAs. This is an ideal solution for outreach events, or astrophotography sessions where you have a guide scope and an imaging rig or wide-field and high-power scopes imaging the same section of sky.

Please weigh your OTAs, this bar, the optional saddles when you get them, and any accessories you plan on using with them to make sure you don't exceed your mount's maximum payload capacity to avoid damaging its gears.
