The 14" (35.6cm) Farpoint Side-by-Side Tandem Connecting Bar can be used with a mount that is outfitted with a large D-size (Losmandy) saddle for mounting two optional saddles (Losmandy or Vixen) for dual-rig systems. Once installed, the two saddles can be used for imaging and autoguiding systems, visual optical tube assemblies (OTAs) and astrophotography OTAs, or OTAs and wide-field camera/lens combinations. Made of lightweight and strong aluminum, the bar is coated with a black anodized finish and comes with an array of pre-drilled mounting holes in popular patterns for compatibility with a wide variety of gear. The only limitation on what can be tandem mounted using this bar is the carrying capacity of the mount and tripod. This is just the 14" bar; additional optional saddles are required for tandem mounting.
