Farpoint designed their 2" to 1.25" Eyepiece Adapter to enable you to use smaller 1.25" eyepieces in telescopes that have larger 2" eyepiece holders, drawtubes, or diagonals. A thumbscrew and non-marking or marring brass compression ring holds the eyepiece securely centered during use. The opposite end of the adapter is threaded for both 1.25" and 2" filters, eliminating the need for separate complete sets of filters in two sizes.
