Replace your stock 1.25" visual back with the Celestron SCT to 2" Visual Back and enjoy the thrill of using larger eyepieces and accessories to enhance your visual observation and astrophotography.

For visual purposes, 2" eyepieces generally provide more light throughput, wider fields of view, longer eye relief, and wider exit pupils so observation is easier and more comfortable. In addition, the larger diameter of the visual back won't throttle light as it passes through, so you can be confident that large imaging sensors will be completely covered without vignetting for improved astrophotography and imaging.

One side is outfitted with internal threads that fit most standard Schmidt and Maksutov Cassegrain optical tubes to provide a solid and secure connection so hanging heavy imaging gear, diagonals, and eyepieces won't cause flexing, which can interfere with clear views. The 2" visual back is made of lightweight and durable aluminum treated with a low-reflection matte black anodized finish, and a brass internal retention ring holds your eyepiece and other accessories firmly in place without marking or marring them.
