Designed to provide stability and reliability for astrophotographers and visual observers alike, the Celestron 2" to 1.25" Adapter with Twist-Lock is a unique accessory with a mounting system that is superior to conventional compression ring and set screw holders.

This model is designed to fit into 2" visual backs, drawtubes, and accessories and allows the use of the smaller standard 1.25" eyepieces and eyepiece imaging systems. Threads on the nosepiece allow you to install 2" filters, eliminating the hassle of removing your filter from one eyepiece and installing it on another when you want to change magnification. Built to last, the housing is made of a lightweight and durable aluminum alloy treated with a scratch-resistant anodized finish.

The Twist-Lock system holds the eyepiece firmly centered in place without marking or marring it, while eliminating wobble and off-axis tilt. A simple twist locks and unlocks the clamping system for fast eyepiece changes even while wearing gloves, without the need to fumble with small set screws or use excessive force and torque to hold the eyepiece in a fixed position.
