Mount two optical tube assemblies (OTAs) onto a single larger mount head with the Alpine Astronomical Baader Heavy-Duty Double Mounting Plate. The 22.4" long by 8" wide plate can carry up to 220 pounds (100kg) of equipment and comes with pre-drilled holes in a variety of sizes and patterns to easily attach most Baader plates and clamps. Alpine recommends the use of their optional 8" Planewave clamp to attach the plate to your mount head, which will allow it to move side to side for proper positioning and balance. This plate is the ideal solution for large imaging/guide-scope rigs, or for community outreach programs.
