Redrock Micro Collins Clamp

  • Description
The Collins Clamp from Redrock Micro is a versatile jaw-style clamp for attaching accessories to virtually any rail, handle, handlebar, or rig. The Collins clamp jaws open to attach directly in place on virtually any rod or handle up to 1.5” (38.1mm) in diameter. This clamp tightens down with a lift-and-lock thumbwheel and stays in place, even under heavy loads. While its primary design is for camera-top accessories and handle bar mounts, the jaw-style clamp is strong enough to handle many types of lights and medium-weight accessories too.

The Collins clamp includes a micro cheeseplate (preassembled with the clamp) that features 1/4" and 3/8” female taps for attaching accessories to the clamp. It can be used for mounting accessories to hand grips, handlebars, jib arms, cranes, Steadicam, and rigging. You can also use it to attach lights, light modifiers or filters, microphones, preview monitors, virtually anything that has a 1/4" or 3/8” male mount. The Collins Clamp is also used in the microRemote Universal Fingerwheel Controller for attaching the fingerwheel to jib arms, cranes, and third party handles. It can also be used in combination with other Redrock accessories to create even more flexible mounting solutions.
