The Mavolux 5032C from Gossen is a handy, easy to use, highly accurate light meter capable of measuring illumination in either footcandles or lux. Candelas/m² and footlamberts can also be measured with the use of an optional luminance attachment. This highly precise meter is equipped with color correction for a spectral response that is matched to that of the human eye, in accordance with DIN 5032, part 7, class C. Integrated cosine correction is included to assure that oblique incident light is also evaluated correctly.

Digital lux meters and footcandle meters can be used for industry, trade, architecture, institutes, inspection authorities, and for photographic and film studios. Either Lux or footcandles can be selected as a measured quantity, and the measuring range is matched automatically to the measured quantity. The measuring range can be locked by pressing a key, or any one of four measuring ranges can be selected manually.

The USB interface allows the Mavolux 5032C to directly interface with a computer with the included GLUX 2 software and to power the meter for constant operation.
