The 500mm f/8 Manual Focus Telephoto T-Mount Lens from Bower is a refractor-style telephoto lens that is compatible with both full-frame and APS-C cameras. T-mount adapters are available to fit all DLSR camera systems to easily adapt this telephoto lens to virtually any camera body. This manual focus lens features an aperture diaphragm in the middle of the lens body that may be stopped down manually when needed, it is not actuated by the camera body, and no lens exposure data is communicated to the camera.

Featuring a sophisticated achromatic refractor design, this lens yields images with pleasing peak contrast and well controlled flare. This super-telephoto lens has an integrated tripod ring, and use of a tripod or monopod is suggested for optimal image sharpness. This lens may be converted to a handheld telescope using a Lumicon LA1070 adapter along with a 1.25"-45°, 60°, or 90° diagonal and any 1.25" eyepiece or for astrophotography by using on an SLR mounted on motorized equatorial telescope mount.
