Lomography HydroChrome Sutton's Panoramic Belair Camera

  • Description
The HydroChrome Suttons Panoramic Belair Camera from Lomography is a one-of-a-kind camera that encourages experimentation and creativity, shooting panoramic images on 35mm film through a liquid-filled lens. Inspired by Thomas Sutton's original, this contemporary version of the design provides more creative control by allowing the user to fill the lens with any liquid in order to achieve unique results.

Fully mechanical in operation, it records images across the entire width of the 35mm film used in the camera, allowing users to include the sprocket holes in their picture for a vintage, analog look. Focus is fixed, and the lens has an aperture of f/11, but other smaller apertures can be achieved with the use of the included aperture plates. Shutter speeds feature 1/100 sec, B(ulb), and T(ime) modes. Additionally, a cable release and tripod socket help to keep the camera still during long and multiple exposures, and a hot shoe and a PC socket provide the means for a burst of flash.
