Bergger Sistan is a silver image stabilizer for use with black and white prints and films. This liquid concentrate solution stabilizes silver halides in a finished print or film in order to improve its archival properties without affecting tonality or print color. It is particularly well-suited for use with baryta paper prints and an ideal substitute for selenium toner when a change in print tonality isn't required. This 1L bottle of Sistan should be diluted 1:19 before use—its shelf life is nearly indefinite when kept in concentrate form—and should be used after the final wash step when processing.
