Bergger BER49 is a very fine-grain film developer for black and white negative films. It delivers medium contrast and a long tonal scale, along with high sharpness and detail. This powdered developer should be mixed to make 5L of stock solution, which can then be mixed at 1:1 to make 10L of working solution, and is recommended for manual processing. It is well-suited for both traditional emulsion films as well as those with tabular grain designs, and delivers full film speed with full shadow and highlight detail. Additionally, the working solution has a long shelf life and is highly resistant to oxidation.
