Designed for more advanced intermediate or professional users, the BRESSER Science MTL-201 50-800x Trinocular Microscope is geared for use in various industries and applications, such as inspecting and observing larger specimens and objects in textiles, metallurgy, mineralogy, research, laboratory, and quality-control inspection of circuit boards.

Its trinocular head features binocular 10x wide-field eyepieces set at a comfortable 30° angle and a dedicated camera port on the top to allow you to send the view to a computer for later analysis or stream to a projector or screen for presentations. A simple mechanical switch easily directs the view to either the oculars or camera port. A five-position nosepiece holds a wide array of objectives that, when combined with the eyepieces, produce a broad magnification range from a low of 50x to a high of 800x.

Since the microscope is geared for larger samples of solid objects, BRESSER opted for a single halogen incidental illuminator. A field diaphragm, dimmer, polarizer/analyzer, and filter holder/slider allow you to precisely light your sample for improved color, contrast, and clarity no matter what you examine. The large stage is ideal for holding big items like rocks, cloth, watches, and jewelry and is fully adjustable on the X-Y axes so you can center specific points of interest on a given sample quickly and easily without having to move the actual object. A two-speed coaxial focuser with ambidextrous coarse and fine focusing knobs makes it easy to use by lefties or righties, with a tension adjustment and limit stop.
