The, BRESSER Science ETD-101 7-45x Zoom Stereo Microscope has a relatively low magnification range with true stereoscopic vision for making detailed observation of larger specimens like bugs and insects, plants and flowers, gems and jewelry, coins and textiles, and more. The 10x wide-field binocular eyepieces and single zoom objective produce between 7x and 45x powers with both upper and lower illumination for solid, transparent, or semi-transparent specimens. The stereo design produces true 3D images with a rich depth of field to more easily discern textures and contours that are usually flattened in traditional compound microscopes.

Its large base acts as the stage with two changeable object plates that allow you to better control the light tone and texture to match your subjects. When using the upper incidental light, you can choose either the black or white side of the object plate that best improves the contrast. Use the frosted object plate with the lower transmitted light source to soften and diffuse the light coming through. Each halogen bulb has its own dimmer and power switch to give you absolute control of the available light. The illuminators run on 230VAC European power.
