The BRESSER MikroCam II 0.4MP UHSP Microscope Camera is ideally suited for a wide array of uses and applications where high sensitivity and short exposure times are important—from being mounted on a microscope to monitoring manufacturing and industrial machinery. Outfitted with a 720x540 color Sony IMX287 CMOS sensor and Global Shutter technology, the camera can "freeze" fast-moving microscopic organisms or ultra-fast production lines with exposures as short as 1/30,000 of a second or ultra-high speed (UHSP) 300 fps video. Its size and resolution will provide enhanced microscopy results, especially during demanding dark field and phase contrast techniques.

Information is fed to a Windows computer utilizing a high-speed USB 3.0 connection that also provides power to the camera. Designed to be compatible with a wide variety of gear, the housing has standard C-mount threads for camera lenses, and it comes with three nose piece adapters that allow you to mount the camera on a microscope without a dedicated camera port in place of its eyepiece. For special applications, there is a standard 1/4"-20 mount on the housing to mount/install the camera wherever you need it—on tripods or industrial equipment for automated quality control, inspection, and monitoring applications.
