To ensure adequate image brightness, the scope offers an incidental incandescent illuminator, and to secure your slides, the base plate has two metal clips. Other highlights of the optical system are coarse focusing, an adjustable 2.8" working distance, interpupillary adjustment, and a diopter corrector on one of the eyepieces.
