To deliver their performance, Kowa binoculars employ anti-reflection fully multi-coated lens coatings on the oversized 50mm objectives, phase-correction coatings on the roof prisms, and oil-resistant exterior lens coatings that work together to keep the lenses clean and produce crisp, clear, and bright high-contrast images with accurate color representation. Added to this performance is an apparent angle of view that approaches wide angle that minimizes the appearance of the distracting hand shake that is often experienced when holding high-power optics such as this, making them more comfortable to look through for long periods of time. A standard 1/4"-20 threaded socket on the front of the bridge hinge allows you to install an optional tripod adapter so you can use the SV II hands-free and eliminate shaking and arm fatigue.
