To accommodate a variety of mounting options, the sides of the optical tubes have mounting holes for an array of manual, motorized, or GoTo yoke mounts. A mounting hole on the bottom allows for a direct connection to a standard photo, video, or field tripod. Because of the size and weight of these binoculars, a support system is recommended for celestial observation of the moon, comet hunting, watching meteor showers, and also tracking distant birds, animals, or ships.
